Salmon Leather Aquatic Silk Strap
The Connoisseur’s Choice
From the heritage ateliers of Paris to the avant-garde designers of Scandinavia, Salmon leather has emerged as the definitive choice for rare, exotic watchstraps. Renowned institutions such as Jean Rousseau and Dior have integrated this "Aquatic Silk" into their high-end collections, valuing its intricate, cross-linked grain that offers superior resilience compared to traditional calfskin. This material represents a convergence of haute couture and sustainable opulence, a standard of luxury recognized by the world’s most discerning horological experts.
The Epitome of Rare Artistry
Transcending the boundaries of traditional horology, our Salmon Leather Collection represents a seamless dialogue between deep-sea organic beauty and artisanal precision. Often referred to as "The Silk of the Sea," this exotic hide is celebrated by heritage fashion houses from Paris to Copenhagen for its distinctive, shimmering grain and unmatched sensory appeal.
Exceptional Resiliency, Unrivaled Texture
Beyond its mesmerizing aesthetic, Salmon leather possesses a cross-linked fiber structure that offers extraordinary durability while remaining incredibly supple on the wrist. Each strap is a unique masterpiece; the intricate, natural scale patterns ensure that no two pieces are ever identical, granting you a truly bespoke horological experience.
A New Standard of Conscious Luxury
In an era of mindful elegance, we take pride in sourcing our leathers from the icy waters of the North Atlantic, utilizing ethically upcycled materials that meet the rigorous standards of elite tanneries. It is a tribute to sustainable sophistication, a choice for the discerning collector who values both the legacy of craftsmanship and the future of our planet. exceptionally smooth and supple, developing a beautiful patina with wear.
Anatural reaction as the premium hide absorbs the oils from your skin. This gentle transformation is one of the quiet pleasures of owning truly fine leather, and it only enhances its sense of depth and character. Over time, the strap gains a wonderful sense of presence. It doesn’t feel heavy or cumbersome, rather, it carries a noble, substantial weight that quietly announces its quality. It has quickly become one of my favourite daily wear straps.
The lining is crafted from leather supplied by one of Hermès’ trusted material partners, while the edge paint uses the same specialist formulations relied upon by Hermès itself.

Q: Where can the promo code be entered?
A: You can easily find the box to enter your discount code at the very bottom of the checkout page! Let us know if you have any trouble getting it to work.
Q: Will this strap fit my specific watch model?
A: Our standard straps feature straight ends that fit most traditional luxury watches, including Rolex, Omega, and IWC. If you are fitting an Apple Watch or a watch with integrated lugs, please select our dedicated adapters or reach out via our bespoke service for a custom fit.
Q: What are your standard strap lengths and will it fit my wrist?
A: Our standard regular size is 130mm/75mm, which perfectly fits wrists between 6.5 to 8 inches. If your wrist is smaller or larger, we highly recommend choosing our bespoke option so we can tailor the length to your exact wrist size.
Q: What does it mean when a strap is tapered?
A: Tapered means the width of the strap gradually narrows from the watch head (lugs) down to the buckle. For example, a 20mm strap may taper down to 16mm at the buckle. This classic profile creates a much sleeker, more balanced, and elegant look on the wrist.
Q: Do your straps come with quick-release spring bars?
A: Yes, our straps are equipped with premium quick-release spring bars as standard. This allows you to effortlessly swap your straps in seconds without using any tools or risking scratches to your watch lugs. Standard spring bars used on selected models check product info for details
Q: Can I use my original watch manufacture buckle with your strap?
A: Yes, in most cases you can. However, please ensure that the buckle width of our strap matches your original buckle size. If you are unsure, contact us with your watch brand and model, and we will verify the measurements for you.
Q: What options can I customize in a bespoke order?
A: With our bespoke service, you can fully customize the strap length, lug and buckle width, upper leather or wool material, lining leather, stitching style, thread color, and even the edge paint color to match your timepiece perfectly.
Q: How long does it take to fulfill a bespoke or hand-stitched order?
A: Because true quality takes time and each piece is hand-tailored from scratch, please allow an additional 1 to 3 weeks for all bespoke and hand-stitched orders to be completed before shipping.
Q: Can you ship my ready-made straps first if I ordered them together with a bespoke strap?
A: By default, we ship all items together once your bespoke pieces are completed. If you prefer to receive your ready-made items sooner, simply contact our team. We can arrange an early partial delivery for a one-time shipping fee of $7.90.

How to Determine Your Watch's Lug Width
Finding the right size for your watch involves a few simple methods:
-
Online Research: A quick Google search for your watch's brand and specific model alongside the phrase "lug width" will often bring up the specs from official site or reputable watch platforms. Keep in mind that sister models within the same collection can feature different dimensions, so verification is key.
-
Caliper Measurement: For the most reliable results, utilize a pair of calipers to get an exact reading of the gap between the lugs.
-
Standard Ruler: Alternatively, a regular ruler works too. Just ensure you align the grid marks perfectly with the inside edges of the lugs to minimize error.
Important Note for Vintage Timepieces
If you are shopping for a Delugs strap to pair with a vintage piece, please reach out to our Customer Support before finalizing your order. Vintage watches often feature unconventional metrics (like 17.5mm) or shallow spring bar holes, which might lead to the strap slipping off even if the width seems correct. Our specialists are ready to guide you toward the safest setup.
Sizing Guide & Customization
Lug sizes are almost always whole millimeters. While the industry standard usually ranges from 18mm to 22mm, watches can be as narrow as 8mm or as wide as 32mm.
Our off-the-shelf strap inventory covers the following sizes: 16mm-26mm
Should your watch require something outside this range, you can always opt for our Bespoke Service. When purchasing, simply match the strap size to your measurement. For instance, a 20mm lug spacing means you should add a "20-16" strap to your cart.

Curated Merino Wool Fabrics
We select only the finest, highest-grade wool, chosen for its rich texture, depth of color, and unique weave patterns. Each strap captures a distinct heritage look, filtering out coarseness to ensure a refined, sophisticated finish that never compromises on style.

Exquisite Italian heritage leather lining
This full-grain cowhide leather originates from the finest section of the cow's back and is meticulously crafted using Italian calf leather. It undergoes four precise stages of pre-treatment, tanning, dyeing, finishing, and coating.
